On
a hill, just outside the town of Galaxidi lie the
premises of “Fil d’Ariadne” (Ariadne’s Thread),
a cultural non profit foundation.
Surrounded
by almond and olive trees on 20.000 stretch of land, the
central building is found with rooms suitable both for
small and large conferences, work sessions, exhibitions
or any cultural activities as well as for individual
solitude and personal study.
Five
self-contained studio apartments with two beds, kitchen,
bathroom and WC, central heating, fireplace,
private terrace and garden are available for
living accomodation.
Built with
sensitivity and care, the buildings fit into the
natural environment and offer unobstructed and inspiring
view of the surrounding mountains and sea.
This space offers chances for peaceful retreat, creative
work and outings (Osios Loukas, Arachova, Delphi,
Amfissa, Mornos dam and Nafpaktia).
The centre
consists of:

of activities,
for 12 - 25 participants (depending on the type
of workshop- seminar).

Outdoor
covered place of activities
(wooden
pavilion), for 15 - 30 participants.

Five
luxurious bungalows
(four
bungalows provide two beds, with possibility of
placement of third, central heating, fireplace, fully
equipped kitchen, iron - ironing board, separate bath
and toilet, private terrace and garden, the fifth
bungalow does not allocate cooker and fireplace).

with elected Greek and foreigner publications -
reading room, with computer and connection
ISDN in the internet.
